I loved chatting with Andrew Gourlay, possibly due to discovering so many things we have in common and how many shared experiences we have?
I discovered we had a shared history in our musical youth, we had both been a rehearsal conductor for one particularly busy maestro, and that we both find conducting one particular piece of Britten's music very difficult!
